Dr Mark Roberts, lead GP partner

Mark joined the practice in August 2011 and became a partner on 1 April 2013. He qualified from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine in 2006 and completed his GP training in Chelmsford. His clinical interests include mental health and diabetes, and he is actively involved in healthcare commissioning. Mark’s personal interests comprise travel and walking his friendly English Springer Spaniel, Izzy, and if anybody can teach him how to play golf properly, please drop in a note at the surgery.

Amy joined the practice as a partner in 2022.
Dr Emma Cowens, salaried GP
Female
Emma studied in Newcastle, qualifying in 2005 and became a GP in 2012. She then moved to Australia where she continued to work as a GP, before returning to the UK in 2022. She has an interest in women’s health, paediatrics, and teaching. Outside of work she’s kept busy by her three young children, and enjoys running and cycling.
Dr Rebecca Denis Le Seve, salaried GP

Rebecca qualified in October 2022 as a GP after training at Mid Essex Hospital (Broomfield). She joined the practice as a salaried GP in March 2024. She is interested in encouraging health and wellbeing via healthy eating, exercise and in general, lifestyle medicine. She enjoys yoga, dance and running in her spare time.

Dr Lizzy Tuckwell, Salaried GP
Female
Lizzy completed her GP training in 2018 and has worked as a doctor in South London and Essex. She enjoys all areas of General Practice and is passionate about patient-centred care. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Tuckwell is an experienced educator holding the post of Senior Lecturer in Primary Care at Anglia Ruskin Medical School, Chelmsford. She is also a Medical Officer in the Army Reserves and has a specialist interest in Veterans’ Health. When she’s not working, Lizzy can often be found out running and on adventures with her young family. Having grown up in Colchester, Lizzy is looking forward to working in the local community.
