Accessibility
The practice has 10 clinical rooms laid out over the ground floor offering step-free access to each room, as well as to the reception desk, waiting area, and disabled WC, direct from our car park. A designated disabled parking bay is adjacent to the surgery entrance. The surgery has wide doors to allow for wheelchair access. There is one clinical room located on the first floor of the building. There is currently no lift access to the first floor. Please inform the reception team if you are unable to use the stairs.
The surgery has a wheelchair for patient use if necessary.
A hearing loop is available at the reception desk. Information is available in large print or braille on request.
The patient call board alerts patients to their appointment room with both a visual alert on-screen, a chime tone and spoken details including the patient’s name, clinician’s name and room number to attend.
A quiet area will be made available if required on request. Please speak to a staff member at the reception desk for any further information.
If you need help when we are closed
Between 6:30pm and 8am, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and bank holidays, normal out of hours cover arrangements will apply. Calls to the practice will be redirected to the NHS 111 Service.
If you have a medical problem that cannot wait until the practice reopens you are advised to dial 111 and this will connect you with the out of hours arrangements for the area. The level of service will be similar to that on a normal weekend or evening.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
