You may have heard in the news reports that from 23rd June 2025, GPs will be able to prescribe weight loss injections.
This is NHS area-specific and is not applicable to North East Essex.
Tiptree Medical Centre CANNOT prescribe weight loss injections. Please do not contact the surgery requesting these.
When they are rolled out, they will only be prescribed through a specialist team via referral. At present, referrals for a new service are not being accepted. It is unknown when this is likely to change.
