If you do not need a face to face consultation but would like to ask the Doctor or a member of the administrative team a question you can do so via" Ask the Doctor" or " Ask the Administrator". you can find this option under Contact Details at the top of this page.
The receptionists are available to make appointments and generally assist patients. They may not always be able to give you the exact appointment you need but will work hard with you to try and find a convenient appointment that meets your needs

You can attend this surgery without making an appointment for the following conditions. Please note if you have sickness and diarrhoea please DO NOT attend the surgery but contact us for advice.
Conditions suitable for the Express Clinic are:
- Upper respiratory infections- Coughs, chest infections, colds, flu, sore throat, sinusitis, earache, hay fever
- Ophthalmic conditions- Conjunctivitis, sore eyes, styes, swollen eyelids
- Women’s health- Thrush, vaginal discharge, emergency contraception,
- Urological conditions- cystitis and urine infections (male and female)
- Dermatological conditions eczema, skin rash, sunburn, insect bites/stings, nappy rash
- Gastrointestinal conditions- constipation, Haemorrhoids, thread worms.
If required the Nurse Practitioner can prescribe for your condition
Blood tests for over 18years are on a no appointment basis. Simply call in between 08.00 and 10.00 Monday to Friday, take a ticket and wait to be called. Please make sure you bring your blood form with you. For under 18years or if you are a patient known to be difficult to bleed please contact us to make an appointment.
The practice has a multi skilled team and offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of the local population. When booking an appointment you will be asked for a brief description of the problem. This is to ensure you are given an appointment with the right person at the right time. If you prefer not to disclose a reason for your visit we may ask one the of the clinical team to call you to triage your need . This system allows our Doctors to see the patients that need their particular expertise.
All nurse led clinic appointments and doctor’s appointments are available to book online via the link at the top of this page. Please do not book the doctor appointments for minor illness as they will be moved to a more appropriate member of the clinical staff. If you are booking a review for a long term condition please only book in the designated clinics as these are longer appointments. If you are booking a spirometry appointment please book two consecutive appointments.

Over 100 appointments are wasted every month when patients do not cancel or attend appointments they no longer need or want. If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the appointment to someone else.
